Before starting the process of joining the club, please take a moment to read this brief explanation about membership payments.
To join you will need a valid email address, and that becomes your identifier for logging into the system for administrative functions and to access the large body of members-only content on the website. Once you enter your email address in the box below, clicking on NEXT will take you to pages than explain how to enter and manage your personal information, how to add family/household members under your membership, and how to pay.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PAYMENT: By default, the system assumes you want to have automatic renewal enabled. (This default is not something we can easily change.) Automatic renewal is a convenience that many of our members appreciate, but many others prefer not to have their membership automatically renewed and charged to their credit card, or not to use a credit card at all. If this is your preference, don't panic at the mentions of automatic renewal. We can accommodate manual renewal payments by credit card or by check.
After you enter your personal information you will advance to a payment page where you will see the buttons INVOICE ME and PAY ONLINE. If you wish to pay by check, select INVOICE ME. Instructions for paying by check will be included in the invoice. If you wish to pay on line with a credit card, select PAY ONLINE. Again, by default this will enable recurring payments, so if you don't want this you'll need to go to your Profile page and click on "Stop recurring payments" at the bottom of the Membership Details section. Note that you can do this at any time.
